Principle of test fixture:
The principle of PCB test fixture and PCBA test fixture is very simple. Both of them connect the pads and test points on the PCB through metal probes. When the PCB is powered on, the typical numerical values and phenomena such as voltage and current values of the test circuit are obtained, and whether the product is qualified or not is checked by the obtained parameters.
The test stand usually consists of the following components:
Test bench: used to support PCB or PCBA and connected to test equipment;
Test fixture: used to fix PCB or PCBA to ensure that it will not move during the test;
Test program: used to control test equipment, execute tests and generate test reports;
Test equipment: there are manual and automatic equipment to choose from, which are used to perform tests and detect the quality and performance of PCBA.
The test fixture of PCB is customized according to customer's requirements, and it is determined according to the size of PCB board and the position of solder joint. It is mainly composed of epoxy board, metal probe, wire and detection interface. It is mainly used to detect the on-off of the circuit board, and never ensure that the product does not appear bad phenomena, short circuit and open circuit, etc.
The test fixture of each PCBA board is different and needs special customization, which is composed of PCB board size, test point position and various external instruments and interfaces. This kind of test stand usually uses acrylic, bakelite and other materials to make the main frame, and is equipped with some contact thimbles to link with wires, thus forming a simple test stand. PCBA test fixture is an essential testing tool in SMT chip processing and production. It can mainly test the produced circuit board, and judge whether the board is good or not through the detected signal picture and sound temperature. The design and use of this test stand ensure that the products will not appear bad phenomena, such as short circuit, open circuit and so on, thus improving the quality and reliability of the products.
